KARMA OF THE MIND.

The Karma of the Mind: A Scientific-Philosophical Analysis of Subjective Life

Humanity, with its population exceeding 8 billion, embodies uniqueness and subjective differences. Fingerprints, body structure, and cortical patterns make each individual unique. This biological distinction forms the basis of subjective experiences and behaviors. The mind and the soul are not merely the sum of neurological activities; they are a complex system shaped by one’s past, environment, and subconscious.

Subjective Life and Pride

Pride is a complex reflection of human behavior. Social psychology literature indicates that prideful attitudes are often linked not to self-confidence but to low empathy and internal insecurity (Exline et al., 2004). This can lead to malicious, envious, and ruthless behaviors in social interactions. Neuroscientific studies highlight that such behaviors arise from the interaction between prefrontal cortex control mechanisms and amygdala responses (Davidson & McEwen, 2012).

Jealousy and Negative Energy

Jealousy is not merely a social phenomenon; it also has neurological and chemical foundations. Imbalances in dopamine, serotonin, and cortisol levels increase an individual’s tendency to experience jealousy and generate internal negative energy (Salovey & Rodin, 1984). These emotions create a type of "energy karma" both within the individual and in social interactions.

The Karma of the Mind: Behavior and Subjectivity

Each person’s mental karma is a composite of experiences, biological structure, and social interactions. Key characteristics of this karma include:

  • Subjectivity: Every experience is unique to the individual; the same event can produce different neurological and emotional effects in different people.
  • Relative Proportion: Negative and positive experiences are evaluated according to the individual’s personal threshold and shape their behavior.
  • Biochemical Basis: Neurological processes such as dopamine, serotonin, and neuroplasticity directly affect mental karma.
  • Social Reflections: Jealousy, pride, and lack of empathy are linked to the energy and karma an individual spreads in their environment.

Scientific Perspective

This conceptual framework is supported by research in neuroscience and psychology:

Conclusion

The karma of the mind reflects the sum of an individual’s biological differences, subjective experiences, and social interactions. Pride, jealousy, and the production of internal negative energy are not only psychological phenomena but also outcomes shaped by neurological and biochemical processes. This perspective offers both a scientific and philosophical bridge for understanding human behavior.
