In the Beginning, There Was a Pattern: The Ancient Software Shining in the Darkness of the Ocean
Wherever the human mind perceives order, it searches for a "creator’s hand." The difference between chaotic grains of sand and the geometric motifs on a carpet is not merely formal; that difference lies in how information is organized. But what if order is not a brushstroke delivered from the outside, but rather a silent whisper bursting forth from the inner relationships of existence itself?

On the left, that momentary, fluid, and dynamic signature left by the sky upon the water; on the right, a radial symmetry engraved upon the darkest floor of the ocean like a frozen memory in the sand...
The Invisible Mirror of a Guideless Painter
When the scientific world approached that flawless circular motif on the right, it made a rational and mechanical diagnosis: "This is a perfect hydrodynamic contour design that interrupts the current to prevent the eggs in the center from being damaged." This is a correct identification, yet it falls short of explaining the depth of the artistic and mathematical miracle.
Because this tiny Japanese pufferfish can never look down from above at this masterpiece it builds throughout its life. It possesses no perspective, no ruler, and no compass. How can a creature, whose field of vision consists only of the few centimeters of sand grains directly in front of it, unerringly bring into existence a millimetric centripetal geometry when viewed from above?
A mystery lies hidden here, far beyond mere function. The fish is not a painter who draws by seeing what it creates; it is a weaver who, with an instinctive rhythm, pours onto the sand an primordial code of existence carried within its genetic memory—a frozen visual inherited from its ancestors. Moreover, this motif, which the fish itself cannot see, is the twin in the sand of that radial refraction created by the sunbeams directly above the water, namely the "caustic networks."
The Eye of Ra and the Centripetal Call
This resemblance does not remain solely between water and sand; it extends all the way to humanity's oldest mythological symbols, to the hieroglyphic drawings of Ancient Egypt. In Egyptian hieroglyphs, the Sun Disk radiating outward from the center and the Eye of God RA are the exact same geometry that this tiny fish carves into the dark seabed.
While the human mind looked at the sky and symbolized that immense order in the universe with a sun god, a fish at the bottom of the ocean whispered the very same universal algorithm into the sand through its biology. Long before letters and words, the universe chose a common language of patterns to express its own existence.
The concept of the "algorithm" used today by computers, processors, and artificial intelligence is not a novelty invented in Silicon Valleys. It is merely the first loop of the carpet that nature has been weaving for billions of years, now being misread and re-read through the language of electricity. Because perhaps the universe is nothing more than a colossal loom, boundless and continuously weaving itself with its own threads.
