THE DARKNESS BEHIND THE CURTAIN

The Darkness Behind the Curtain: The Soul, Inner Voice and the Hidden Universe

THE COLOUR OF THE SOUL AND THE INNER VOICE OF THE UNIVERSE

Invisible colours, the light beyond darkness, and the universe opened by a single word

Every soul carries its own universe within.

Every human being is a unique spectrum of colour.

The colour of a person does not lie in the face visible to the outside world. It is hidden in the way they perceive the world, in the depth of their thoughts, in the shape of their emotions, and in the meaning they carry behind their words. The fact that two people can look at the same world and see different things, or hear the same word and arrive at different meanings, reveals that every soul carries its own colours, even beneath the same light.

Human beings are made up of more than what they see. The meaning they give to what they see creates their inner world. One eye sees the shape of a tree. Yet a person standing beneath that tree may remember their childhood and open a door to the past. The eye sees the same thing, but the world perceived by the soul has changed.

It is here, in the depth between what is visible and the meaning it carries, that the colour of the soul emerges.

To define a person solely through their words is like judging a book exclusively by its cover. Words allow people to express themselves. Yet behind every word stands a thought that selects it; behind that thought lies an intention, and behind that intention lies the relationship a person has built with their own existence.

That is why a person's colour is revealed not only by what they say, but also by the inner world from which their words emerge.

The words of some people carry light because their thoughts make room for others. The words of others carry shadows because they narrow meaning, draw boundaries, and silence voices. Some people dismantle a wall standing before thought with a single sentence. Others speak for pages and still fail to open the door to their inner world.

The colour of the soul lies not in the number of words, but in the depth of their meaning.

Every soul possesses its own light. This light does more than make the person themselves visible; it also brings out colours in others that they have not yet discovered within themselves. For some encounters are more than two people simply getting to know one another. One person's thought awakens a thought in another whose existence they had never known. A single word opens a new window in the darkness of another soul.

In this way, a person preserves their own colour while allowing other colours to shine.

A symphony does not emerge because every instrument plays the same note. Each instrument retains its own timbre. The beauty of the whole arises from the relationship between different sounds. Humanity is no different. When all people think alike, feel alike, and live in the same way, a shared world does not automatically emerge. A shared world comes into being where different colours can exist side by side without erasing one another.

The colour of the soul does not merely tell us who a person is. It also reveals what kind of light they bring into the world.

The Universe Hidden Within a Single Word

Let us now consider a single word: UNIVERSE.

Eight letters. Read in a matter of seconds. Yet the space this word opens within consciousness extends far beyond the boundaries of its letters.

Stars, galaxies, time, matter, life, and all the questions humanity has ever asked appear within the reach of this one word. The word itself is none of these things. Yet within human consciousness, it carries the doorway that opens towards them.

Here begins the power of the word.

The physical form of a word is limited. We can write it on paper, display it on a screen, or pronounce it as a sound. Yet the meaning it evokes within a person cannot be measured by the dimensions of its outward form. A few letters can give rise to limitless connections in the human mind.

The word is the material. Intention gives it form.

The same word carries different meanings when spoken from different intentions. In one person's hands, a sentence can create trust; from another person's mouth, it can evoke fear. Even when the physical properties of the sound remain the same, the intention carried by the word and the meaning it awakens in the listener change.

That is why a word is not merely spoken. It is continually recreated within the human being.

When we read a word, our eyes encounter its letters. Our mind recognises them, our memory forms connections with them, and our thinking carries their meaning into our own world. In this way, an external sign transforms into a thought within us.

This is precisely where the transition between the world of words and the inner world of the human being takes place.

Writing makes the traces of this transition visible. Paper, ink, and pen are the tools of writing. Yet thought itself is not made of paper. The visible side of a text consists of its letters. Its invisible side is the meaning those letters set in motion within a human being.

To write down a thought does not merely mean preserving it. It means giving it a form in the external world and making it accessible so that it can reach the inner world of another person.

The writer chooses the words. The reader reconstructs them within their own consciousness. The text remains the same, yet the inner universe it opens carries its own colour within each person.

That is why the true weight of a word is not measured by the number of letters it contains. It is measured by the door it opens within a human being.

The Inner Voice: The Universe That Lives Within Us

When human beings think, they do not merely observe the external world. They also create a world of their own within themselves.

Thoughts are the stars of this universe, associations are its pathways, memories are its depths, and meaning is its light. Within this universe, people relive the past, imagine the future, shape words that have not yet been spoken, and enter into relationships with possibilities they have not yet encountered.

The outer universe extends before us. The inner universe opens within us.

The relationship between the two is a fundamental key to understanding human existence.

An external sound reaches the ear. Yet its physical properties alone do not determine what it becomes within a person. The same melody awakens a childhood memory in one person, longing in another, and the beauty of mathematical order in a third. The physical existence of a sound and the meaning it acquires within a human being are not the same.

Sound comes from outside; its echo takes shape within the inner world of the human being.

The inner voice, in turn, is the relationship this world of meaning establishes with itself. When a person weighs a thought, chooses a word, recalls a memory, or tries to understand the meaning of a decision, an inner conversation takes place. This conversation does not always occur in the form of an audible voice. Sometimes it is a sentence, sometimes an image, and sometimes a meaning that takes shape before words emerge.

The universe of the inner voice consists not only of words that become audible within the mind. Thoughts that take shape before they acquire language also belong to this universe.

The word that emerges from a person's mouth is the outward form of a journey that began in their inner world. The external word is not the entirety of the inner thought. It is its visible expression.

Therefore, the difference between the inner and outer voice is not merely the difference between silence and speech. It is also the difference between the space in which meaning comes into being and the space in which it finds expression.

A thought takes shape within. A person gives it form through words. The word moves outward, reaches another person's world, and acquires a new meaning there.

In this way, the inner world enters into a relationship with the outer world through words.

The inner universe of the human being is not entirely sealed within itself. Every encounter with the outside world can leave a trace within it. And every expression a person sends into the world can set something new in motion within someone else's inner universe.

The idea I call the inner voice of the universe gains its meaning precisely through this relationship: the physical sounds of the outer world and the meanings that emerge within human beings are not the same. External vibrations become audible; within the inner world, they transform into experience, emotion, thought, and meaning.

There is only one truly authentic voice in the universe: the inner voice. Everything else is the expression of mechanical sounds.

This statement does not deny the existence of physical sounds. It is a philosophical proposition about how sound acquires meaning. External sound belongs to the physical world. The meaning it evokes within a human being, however, emerges within the realm of conscious experience. The distinction between the existence of a sound and what it means opens the door to the inner voice.

Human beings do not merely hear sounds. In hearing them, they also encounter their own inner world.

Darkness, Light, and the Window We Open

To understand the relationship between darkness and light, we do not need to gaze towards distant galaxies. Sometimes the window of our own home is enough to tell an entire story.

There is light in a room. We close the curtain. The light outside does not disappear; only its path into the room is blocked. The room grows dark. If we want to let the light in again, we reopen the curtain. The same window, the same light, the same room … What has changed is the position of the obstacle between us and the light.

This simple action offers a powerful illustration of the relationship between the visible world and human perception.

The curtain does not destroy the light. It limits its access to the room.

Opening the curtain does not mean creating the light, either. It means removing the obstacle in its path.

In human thought, ideas, beliefs, fears, and prejudices can also act like curtains. Sometimes a person remains in darkness not because they are incapable of seeing a truth, but because they place their own thoughts between themselves and what they need to examine. The light is there, yet the window of perception remains closed.

This darkness is not the same as physical darkness. Physical darkness is associated with an area not receiving sufficient light. Inner darkness, by contrast, is connected to a person's failure to recognise meaning, perceive the limits of their own thinking, or remain open to another perspective.

Without confusing these two states, people can better understand themselves through the similarities between them.

Resonance is not the repetition of the same sound, but the inner movement that emerges from an encounter.

A piece of music brings a memory to life. A poem reveals an emotion for which no name had previously been found. A sentence changes the question a person asks of their own life.

A relationship exists between the outward form of a work and the meaning that emerges within a person. Yet the experience that arises is not a mechanical copy of the work.

A note does not awaken the same memory in everyone. A word does not generate the same thought in every consciousness. Each person listens through their own memories, experiences, and perceptions.

Resonance is therefore less a force that makes people alike than a relationship through which meaning begins to move between different inner worlds.

A person cannot enter another person's inner universe completely. Yet through words, music, art, and thought, they can reach its door. They cannot determine everything that lies behind that door. They can, however, create the space in which the other person may open their own world.

Understanding does not mean taking possession of another person's inner world. It means taking their own space of meaning seriously.

True resonance gains its strength not by making every other sound fall silent, but by creating a space in which another voice can also be heard.

The Word Is the Gateway Through Which the Inner Voice Emerges

A thought takes shape within a person; the word carries it into the external world.

Yet the fact that a word moves outward does not mean that the full depth of the thought has been completely transmitted. Language is one of the most powerful means of sharing the inner world with others. Nevertheless, not every layer of an experience can be fully captured in a single expression.

Describing a person's feelings and awakening precisely the same feelings in another person are two different things. Words make experiences communicable. Yet each person processes them through their own past and perception.

This limitation does not weaken the power of words. It increases their responsibility.

A word can change the way a person sees themselves. A sentence can bring courage into fear, understanding into anger, and a new thought into darkness. Equally, a word can narrow someone's inner world, diminish them, or devalue another person's existence.

The power of a word arises not only from the meaning it carries, but also from its influence on how people create meaning.

Words first become visible outside us. Then, within another person, they transform into thoughts. These thoughts can influence actions, decisions, and perceptions of the world. In this way, a word embarks on a journey that extends far beyond the moment it is spoken.

The echo of a word is not limited to the duration of its sound.

When a person falls silent, the word ends. Yet the meaning it has evoked within someone may endure. A book is closed, but a thought remains open. A conversation ends, yet its question lives on. Music falls silent, but the experience it awakens in a listener can continue to live in memory.

The end of an external sound does not mean the end of the inner voice.

Here also lies the power of writing. It carries thoughts through time and brings them to other people. The author's words find a voice again within the reader's consciousness. Yet that voice no longer belongs solely to the author; it also becomes part of the relationship the reader builds with their own inner world.

The word takes shape outside and opens a universe within.

A person's expression crosses the boundaries of their own inner world and reaches another person's thinking. A new meaning emerges there. The person who spoke the word cannot determine alone what colour that meaning will take.

The true power of a word lies in its ability to emerge from one person's inner world and transform into a thought within another.

The Eighth Colour: The Trace of the Invisible

Human beings describe the world through colours, remember through sounds, and give meaning through words. Yet life contains experiences that cannot be explained through familiar colours and sounds alone.

The longing that follows a loss is not simply darkness. The love that lives on within a memory is not simply brightness. A person can carry both the pain of absence and the value of a life once lived within themselves.

These two feelings do not cancel each other out. They coexist within the same inner world.

The eighth colour is an idea that describes this depth.

It is not an additional colour in the physical spectrum. It symbolises the invisible traces of human life, the light of memory, and the meaning one being leaves within other beings.

A person's life is not limited to the period during which they themselves are alive. Their words, their works, the thoughts they share, and the relationships they build can leave traces in the lives of others. These traces do not mean that their physical existence continues. Rather, they show that the influence of their life can continue in different forms.

A person's colour is revealed not only through the qualities that were visible during their lifetime, but also through the meaning they added to the world.

Remembering does not mean bringing the past back unchanged. It means establishing a new relationship between what has passed and who we are today. A memory can acquire a different meaning over time. A word that once remained incomprehensible can be heard more deeply years later. A value imparted by someone we have lost can become clearer in their absence.

The transformative power of memory also carries the eighth colour within it.

Here, darkness and light meet once again. The darkness of grief cannot completely extinguish the light of love. Yet light does not erase the reality of loss, either. Both find their place within the human inner world. The meaning of life reveals itself in the way these feelings touch one another.

The colour of the soul does not fade; whenever we remember it, it finds new light within us.

This statement does not deny death. It means that the value of a life cannot be judged solely from the point at which it ends. Human beings are transient. Yet their thoughts, their works, and the traces they leave in others can continue in different forms.

The eighth colour is the name given to this invisible continuity.

The Invisible Becomes Visible When It Acquires Meaning

Human beings look at the world and name what they see. Yet behind every definition waits a new question, and behind every answer another space of meaning opens.

The colour of the soul emerges within the inner world of the human being. The inner voice is the relationship this world establishes with its own thoughts. The word is the passage leading from this inner world to the outside. Resonance emerges where one person's expression finds a response within another.

Darkness and light reveal two sides of this journey. When we close the curtain, the light does not disappear; only its path into the room is blocked. When we open the curtain, we do not create the light anew; we remove the obstacle in its path. When human thought opens its own windows, it encounters meanings it could not see before.

All these relationships reveal that a human being is not merely a body living in the external world, but also carries within an inner universe that creates meaning.

As people listen to the sounds coming from outside, they also hear the voice within themselves. When they read words, they encounter not only another person's thoughts but also notice how their own thoughts begin to move. When they try to recognise the colour of another soul, they simultaneously discover the boundaries and nuances of their own.

On this journey, not everything can be reduced to a single answer. The depth of the soul cannot be exhausted by any definition. The universe of the inner voice cannot be closed with a single sentence. And the power of a word does not end the moment it is spoken.

A window opening in one person's world may encounter the light carried within another. A word can set a new thought in motion within the consciousness of someone we have never met. A sound can remain in memory through its meaning long after its physical existence has ended.

And as a person makes their own colour visible in another person's world, they also learn to see the colour of the other.

The colour of the soul is the depth of the human inner world. The inner voice of the universe is the emergence of meaning within consciousness. The word is the passage between two worlds. Light, in turn, does not create the invisible out of nothing; it opens the path through which the invisible can become visible.

The most valuable trace a human being can leave in the world begins precisely here: making their own voice heard without silencing other voices; preserving their own colour without erasing other colours; and taking responsibility for the possibility that their words may open a new window within another human being.

For a word does not remain only where it was spoken.

Light does not illuminate only the surface upon which it falls.

And the colour of a soul does not become visible only within itself.

Sometimes, a thought born within one person's inner world reaches the world of another. There it acquires a new meaning, takes on a new colour, and helps open another window.

This is the echo of the invisible: when a meaning born in one inner universe finds light once again in another inner universe.
